Hear that? That’s the sound of the summer ending. Fear not, you can always watch a movie to shake the blues away.  And this week, you’ve got four.  Pick your battles folks.

The Releases of the Week after the jump.

When Men in Black 3 opened in theaters earlier last week, I expected nothing less than a parade of bikini clad aliens heralding the youthful return of Agent J (Will Smith) and Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones).

But all I got was a painful reminder of how old I am.

I’ll be the first to admit that casting isn’t one my strong suites. But even I’m not naïve enough to think that Direk Jerome Pobocan’s upcoming Born to Love You doesn’t have one of the most awkward romantic pairings I’ve ever seen.

Unless you’re into incestual romance. Because that’s the vibe I’m getting from stars Angeline Quinto and Coco Martin.

the blockbuster and festival seasons are about to start up, but this week’s releases make the wait a little easier.  An eclectic mix, the releases have something for everyone.

Good news: Nipping at the heels of the trailer we posted last monday, Director Pepper Marcelo sent us the new teaser image for his documentary Illustrated By.

But unfortunately there’s bad news as well.
