The Folk U series of singer-songwriter shindigs is the brainchild of siblings Khavn and Ledh de la Cruz, collectively known as Fando & Lis. Not that it hasn’t done this before but in the last .MOV, the music and literature components had very strong filmic connections, namely Roxlee, whose graphic novel Planet of the Noses was launched, and Lav Diaz, who released his debut CD of original songs, Impyerno.
