The National Historical Commission of the Philippines, Rock Ed Radio and Director Arnold Arre debuted a stunning animated accompaniment of our National Anthem as performed by The Radiactive Sago Project.
The video after the jump.
First things first:
Yowza! Now who wouldn’t want this to be shown at every last full show in glorious HD? Rhetorical Answer: Yes. Yes we would. Arre’s art style is, as always, gorgeous and is just bursting with Filipino flavor. And with the artistry on display here, let’s hope he gets cracking on at least a spec trailer for his brilliant rendition of a possible Filipino Superteam.
Since the video has got me in a patriotic mood, here’s another video directed and animated by Arnold Arre, the Kaninong Anino video comissioned by Rock Ed as part of their campaign for Rock Rizal, a collection of songs celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Jose Rizal.
PHIL-IP-PINES! PHIL-IP-PINES! PHIL-IP-PINES! WHOOOOO!
