Arnold Arre Draws Up the ‘Pinoy Avengers’

As the Avengers continues to draw in hordes of comic book geeks from across the globe, local comic book artist Arnold Arre takes the opportunity to put together his own dream team of Filipino superheroes.
Just one of those things that makes you proud to be Filipino.
Arre posted the above image earlier this morning, with a nod to Marvel’s latest superhero epic:
Watching the Avengers made me come up with this superhero team comprised of our very own. The art features my take on classic Pinoy characters Capt. Barbell, Darna, Julio Valiente, Flavio (a.k.a Ang Panday) and Lastikman.
