Because we like driving ourselves into the ground apparently, we’re still giving you the Releases of the Week in spite of all the Cinemalaya hubbub. Yes, we love you that much.

BLITZ
Jason Statham plays a cop tracking down a serial killer that kills cops. Paddy Cosidine of Hot Fuzz fame helps Statham out. Now that the plot’s out of the way, let the punching and violence ensue.
PROM
A bunch of high school kids prepare for prom, each in their own way. Hijinks, Age coming and hopefully synchronized dancing ensue on the road to…PROM.
THE WARD
Director John Carpenter returns to the big screen after a teen year hiatus with The Ward. Set in the 1960’s, a young woman is trapped in a mental asylum that isn’t what it seems. Or is it?
BRIDESMAIDS
Freaks and Geeks creator Paul Feig directs a Kirsten Wiig-lead pack of comediennes as they bridesmaid the hell out of her best friend’s wedding. Oh, Judd Apatow produced it and Jon Hamm is in it, if that helps.
